Is Megan Gale the New Wonder Woman?

According to AICN, Megan Gale has been cast as Wonder Woman in George Miller's Justice League of America. If you're an average guy like me, you're probably asking Megan who?! But if you're a fan of Australian supermodels or nude photography, you're probably well versed in all that is Megan Gale.

Now personally, I'm not putting a lot of stock in this simply because a lot of names have been attached to the character, none of which have worked out (ie. Jessica Biel). The most recent name (and one that I thought sounded good) was Mary Elizabeth Winstead who appeared this summer as John McClane's daughter in Live Free or Die Hard.

Australian Who Magazine is reporting that 32-year-old Australian Supermodel Megan Gale has been cast as Wonder Woman in George Miller’s Justice League of America. AICN has confirmed the report with multiple sources, so this looks to be legit, and not just another one of the countless internet casting rumors.

Rumors have been flying around forever about who would eventually land the role of Wonder Woman in the new Justice League film.

It appears the role may have gone to Australian model Megan Gale.

The sources on this one seem to be pretty credible:

Ain’t It Cool News claims multiple sources inside Warner Bros. and unnamed agencies have confirmed the casting.

Plus Australian magazine Who also say it’s Megan. (Who is the Australian version of People, so also pretty reliable.)

The film’s director George Miller is also Australian.

Megan is huge star in her home country and in Italy, but is virtually unknown in America.

She certainly looks the part, but she’s not an actress, although she did have a part in the 2005 bomb Stealth as a secretary.

Is Paige Roberts "The Other Woman"?

It appears the extramarital affair that is ending Mark Everson’s short tenure at the helm of the Red Cross, did not involve a secretary in Washington with a large the age difference. It turns out Everson’s mistress was Paige Roberts.

Veto F. Roley at the Mississippi Press is breaking the story that Southeast Mississippi Chapter Executive Director Paige Roberts matches the clues given earlier this week by multiple news reports as to the identity of the woman who had an affair with the former leader of the Red Cross.

Multiple attempts Thursday by The Mississippi Press to reach Roberts were unsuccessful. "You will have to ask her about it," Roberts' husband, Gary Roberts, said when contacted Thursday. He is a municipal judge in Gautier.

A call to Paige Roberts' cellular phone was returned by Kiki McLean, who identified herself as a friend. She referred questions to the American Red Cross national office.

Paige Roberts was in Washington, D.C., on Thursday to attend a previously scheduled national Red Cross conference. The story goes on to say:

According to the New York Post, which quoted unidentified Red Cross executives, the woman involved with Everson lives in Mississippi, is brunette, lost her home during Hurricane Katrina, is married with two children and is a former television reporter.

According to a 2006 profile in The Mississippi Press, Paige Roberts was a reporter at WLOX-TV 13 from 1993 to 1996 and has two children. She is also brunette. The Robertses' home was completely destroyed in Katrina.

According to Foley's report, Barbara Dumas, chairwoman of the Southeast Mississippi Red Cross chapter, said Thursday that Roberts is still employed.

Apparently, she’s carrying his child.

So, now, the Red Cross has to go back and conduct an audit to see how much money Everson inappropriately spent putting it to his mistress, which will certainly be great for donor confidence. For the moment, Paige gets to keep her job.

Young Artist Alexandra Nechita

Alexandra Nechita is one of the most highly recognized artists alive today. That's quite an accomplishment for one who is just 21 years old. Alexandra's journey to where she is today takes on a storybook aura. Alexandra's father, Niki, fled Communist Romania for the United States, leaving his wife, Viorica, who was 6 months pregnant with Alexandra, behind. Even at age 2, Alexandra was absorbed with her coloring books. Alexandra's first art exhibit came in 1994 at a community library when she was only 8 years old. This was an historical day for Alexandra, as she also became an American citizen, was told she would soon be a big sister, and saw the abstract work of Pablo Picasso for the first time. In the spring of 1995, Alexandra's career was on the verge of taking off as she was discovered by Ben Valenty and soon became the youngest artist to sign with IAP. By the age of 9, Alexandra had several more exhibitions in the Los Angeles area displaying more than 250 paintings.

The national and international press couldn't get enough of the child prodigy. Alexandra's unusual talent, heart as big as her canvases and charismatic personality were almost too good to be true. Alexandra has appeared on countless programs around the world, including NBC's Today, The Oprah Winfrey Show, The Rosie ODonnell Show, and NBC Nightly News with Tom Brokaw. Alexandra's list of accomplishments speaks for itself. Her commissions include the 39th Annual GRAMMY Awards, Polaroid for its 50th Anniversary and the Andre Agassi Foundation. Emily Sander, aka Zoey Zane, Murder Victim?

WICHITA, Kan. (AP) — A missing Kansas college student believed to be the victim of foul play led a double life as an Internet porn star by the name of Zoey Zane, a friend told The Associated Press on Wednesday. An autopsy is planned on a body found in Kansas today that appears to be that of missing college student Emily Sander.

A young woman resembling 18-year-old Emily Sander appears nude in photos posted on a Zoey Zane Web site.

"She enjoyed it. She is a young teenage girl and she wanted to be in the movies and enjoyed movies. She needed the extra money," said Nikki Watson, a close friend of Sander's at Butler County Community College. "Nobody in El Dorado knew besides her close friends."

Police in El Dorado, where Sander was last seen on Friday, said they are aware of the Web site. But police investigator Chad Young would not confirm whether Sander is Zoey Zane and would not say whether the site was connected in any way to her disappearance.

Sander was last seen leaving a bar in El Dorado, about 30 miles from Wichita, with a man identified by police as Israel Mireles, 24, authorities said. Sander and Mireles met that night at the bar, according to Watson.

Joe Terziu, owner of Bella Casa Italian Restaurant, where Mireles worked, told The Wichita Eagle that he saw blood on a bed and carpet in the motel room where Mireles had been staying. Police have not confirmed the account.

A nationwide manhunt was under way for Mireles and his 16-year-old girlfriend. A rental car he had been driving turned up Tuesday in Texas.

Sanders recently signed a contract for the pornographic work on the Web site, and told her parents about it on Thanksgiving, Watson said. Her boyfriend broke up with her because he did not approve, Watson said.

On the Web site, she appeared in various states of undress, in a cowgirl costume and a jungle-print bikini. The website has taken down the site announcing that they did not want to hurt the family.
